This game despite a number of systems feels like I could teach it in 15 minutes. The deck building directs where you can send your workers and the workers help with the deck building. The different mechanisms merge to make one good game. The deckbuilding aspect has most of the usual tropes: buying cards each round, deck destruction, combos, card drawing... the fighty part is very straightfoward and gives each round a nice goal. As the rewards increase it certainly helps along the arc of the game.
