My BGG Comment

There is probably a strategy somewhere that lets you win this game. But I have made several attempts and only finished playing this once and I lost. I guess the other attempts were losses, too, that I just failed to record. I bought this after reading a review of it and it sounded so enticing but it sounded good for reasons other than gameplay. The review was talking about the statement the game makes and that is fine and all but I am not having fun playing it. Everything I did felt very futile and I kept making mistakes. Both rules mistakes and strategy mistakes. The actual gameplay just didn't give me any satisfying decisions, it is far too restrictive for that. The forum for the game suggests that it is me rather than the game. But the frustration is worse than Ghost Stories and we mostly lost that one. The game fails to pull me in thematically. I push a few cubes here and there. This is one where I like the idea but not the play.
