My BGG Comment

2026: I had not expected to like this so much. But I saw it was illustrated by Beth Sobel and that combined with the hex tiles convinced me to give this a try. I had avoided the bigger Fjords KS a while back. But this has a solo mode and ... it turns out there was a hole in my collection that is now filed: a hex shaped hole for a solo even simpler and faster than Cascadia. It takes just the right amount of time for a short break from work. Setup is done in under half a minute which is equivalent of "no setup" at all. Rating: 8 (solo only)

Currently my very favorite tiny hex tile layer that I will play almost every day because it is so satisfying to build a beautiful landscape

There are so few rules to the solo mode. * Keeper: Absolutely. I only just got this game and have already played it a lot. * Recommended: Anyone who enjoys simple small box solo games and tile laying * Competition: Cascadia (Hex landscapes), Naturopolis (Small box tile laying)
