I may have overplayed this on the app at some point. But this remains a neat game with changing victory conditions. Each turn you place three of your little houses on a certain type of land (luck of the draw here but can be mitigated at some point in the game). By building in certain spots you get additional placement options. Is a fun midweight routebuilding/area control game that I will play again now after leaving the app alone for a few years. Rating 7 2026 After ? 50+ app plays ? This was one of our favorite games to play. And then I got my fingers on the app--many years ago. And I played the game to death. So much so that I sold my copy. I rebought the Winter Kingdom a couple of years ago but haven't really managed to get it to the table. So recently I got out the app again, just for nostalgia's sake. It is still a pretty good game that I would probably enjoy again on the table. Although I really prefer the slightly more complex Winter Kingdom. Rating 7
