Must have. The theme appeals. I like the development from OG to Sakura at lot and Dorf is one of my comfort games in 2026. Another big box of it: absolutely.

Hopeful. Mr Mage Knight and Mr Seti make a computer game adaptation and CGEs big release of the year. I am tempted to preorder because it is very unlikely that I get to play this at the fair and I can't skip it. But Mage Knight is one of my retirement games because of the depth and complexity. I have a feeling this might be similarly difficult for me to table these days

Hopeful. I love the cover, love the title, love the round central board and the artwork. The whole premise is fascinating to me. The design pedigree is impressive although admittedly I have yet to find a game by any of the 3 designers that I fully click with and they have the overwrought Darwin's Journey to account for in my book... and yet, the premise seems delicious. A game I really want... to like but likely won't.

Hopeful. In many ways this reminds me of Oath. A game with huge potential but of those I know that have played the English edition quite a few enjoyed it more for its promise than its delivery it seems. Still it seems like one I must have in my collection. The preorder at Spielworxx remains open for a few more days (Aug 23)

Hopeful. May or may not be there. An interesting take on the traveling this time around the world. It is not on the preview--yet. Ion usually has a booth at the fair so I am sure they'll have their "big game" along. This promsises to be a gamer's version of "Trekking the World" at least to me via the BGG description.

Curious. The idea of having a gamebox to "dig through" by unlocking content through solving puzzles is a unique sounding proposition. Definitely going to have a closer look.

Buzzed. A lot of buzz for this one even though I know neither author nor publisher. But the theme of course is ever popular. What appeals: the chessboard in the center. What doesn't: it looks so busy on the table and there seem to be a lot of small moving parts on the playerboards and everywhere.
