2026: After 4 plays. I bought this on a recommendation after avoiding it despite the SdJ Kennerspiel win. In recent years Kennerspiel and me weren't always a good fit. Having seen pictures of the game also didn't entice me. But when I heard it had a solo and a cooperative mode and was about exploration more than anything, I decided it might be a good fit to play with my partner and it is. After 3 solos and one 2 player cooperative game, I think the competitive mode is probably where it is at. Solo could get boring. I think the goal and the problem cards don't have enough variety to make a real difference. And I think more sea tiles would also be good although how much variety can you have... Rating 8
