I have always enjoyed Uwe Rosenberg's solo-modes since first discovering Nusfjord's. This game is quite ugly. Is yellow the new beige? And the industrial theme does not usually speak to me. But in the end it all comes together with such great gameplay that looks and theme become secondary. Very thinky, yet easy to learn and retain rules (symbology could be a little better). I love the way the routes and the buildings combine in this game. I have only played 1 of 4 decks so far and I think I could play another 10 games before feeling like I might have "solved" that particular puzzle. (It doesn't feel solvable, what I mean is more that once you know the cards really well, it becomes more obvious how to play). Officially this plays 2. I have no intention of ever playing that way unless someone begs me to.
