I had high hopes for Hex-Azul. I really like hexes. And I like garden themed games. And maybe this would be good but Calico is better at doing hexes with colors and patterns and as an Azul this one has too much AP. My partner ended his first game in the penultimate round basically turning over the table and quitting because he found it so frustrating. Quite unforgiving unlike the other Azuls. This one makes me sad and disappointed. So much wasted hex-goodness.
