Intial Rating 7. 2026: I like puzzles and I really like patterns. But the way I tend to play such games from the gut with a lot of "let's try this" instead of optimizing each move, does not work for a game aiming to induce AP. This one feels like it is doomed to fail, if I don't spend a lot of time analyzing every single move. Unlike for example Sprawlopolis where no matter how badly I played the previous move the next one still feels satisfying. This one faces tough competition from solo puzzles I like a lot better. In addition this game is too abstract for me and in the end I have not really built anything worthwhile. Every other game of *polis I take a picture because I like my results. I can stare at my Harmonies or Cascadia tableau after a badly scoring game and still like the landscape I built... but here: I might have won, but I have nothing to show for it. Rating 6
