Description

Blätterrauschen ("Rustling Leaves") is a roll-and-write game, and for every season — spring, summer, autumn, and winter — there is a themed game sheet with different rules. The numbers on the dice reveal the side lengths of the area marked on the game sheet. In this area, a forest symbol is selected that is included in the scoring. Whoever collects the most points wins.

My BGG Comment

An interesting and fresh take on the R&W genre that has some of the fascination of polyominoes games and it solves the problem of everyone getting the same result by offering different starting positions for players. 2 dice are rolled and this gives players the size of the area they have to mark which can be 1x1, 1x2 up to 3x4 and within that area they choose one of the enclosed symbol types to use. There are four different seasons aka boards to play. Simple but good and easy to teach.
