Mass Transit · English edition · (2021)

Seems so trivial at first but I have lost my first 2 games now. Just get those commuters to the suburbs. But don‘t close off all the routes just yet. I think though once I figure out a strategy the game will become boring. Rating 6 2026 after 3 plays: I bought this game after seeing it on a roundup review. The review made it sound much more interesting than it really is. The game is far too simple or I am missing something essential. You have 6 people who want to get home by public transport. On a turn you play two cards. You either add them to one of the six people's trip home or you discard them to move the people along their trip to the next stop. There are several types of public transport boats, busses and trains they can take and there are also their destinations. Each destination needs 3 or 4 cards placed on the given route before it can be placed. And decisions just aren't very interesting. The game gets samey within a single play. Rating 4
