Your rating:
The gamer's version of Kingdom Builder. I really enjoyed our play. The basic loop is the same: draw random terrain build three houses. Get points according to 3 game specific conditions. Changes: the map is made of 7 meta-hexes, you get abilities as cards in your hand that you buy according to a game specific money generating condition. There is the twist card that in our case gave everyone an aura (couldn't built next to houses of another player). There is an additional terrain (ice) that you cannot trivially build on. The complexity is just a bit higher than the original and I like the fresh ideas. Probably need to know the original game to truly appreciate this.
