Got to play the prototype at SPIEL2022, didn't back the KS but will probably acquire the retail version. I think I may like this better than Ares Expedition. It is the standard TM problem: play cards to make warm, make breathe and make water to gain Terraforming Rating. In this game cards have no terraforming requirements to play which makes them less situational. Cards come in a lot of shapes and sizes providing all kinds of effects just like in OG-TM. Here though you gain colored dice as income which provide a variety of different symbols and those are the resources you need to spend to play cards. On your turn you either do an income turn or play a card and a bonus action or 2 bonus actions. It's fast and snappy and the dice-income mechanic is refreshing and fun. But it still has that same TM feel maybe even more so than Ares Expedition. I cannot quite put my thumb on it as to why.
