Good thematic game, overall very well executed. Bought this on a whim for the theme and am pleasantly surprised to find a good game inside. Over 7 rounds players distill spirits from water, sugars and yeast in their distillery. There is a thematic push your luck element here that feels quite nice. Depending how your filled your "vat" you might make moonshine, vodka or any of the other recipes you know. It is easy to learn, has a good rulebook (+ tutorial game), a working insert, a good amount of depth and a small modicum of interaction via the card markets. I thought this was a good game to introduce some of my more casual boardgame friends to hobby games. I had underestimated the complexity of the game somewhat and the game ran forever. The solo mode is very good and unique. You have a tree of goals you need to complete to win a bit like the 7 Wonders Duel tableau with some lines hidden and others open. Personally enjoy very much. Will not play with too many newbies again.
