Atlantis Rising (Second Edition) · German edition · (2021)

More interesting decisions than the original (though that one has been so long ago I only remember it as „boring“ and „why am I playing a children‘s game“). So you want to gather the resources to build the 9 modules and finally the portal that will allow the citizens of Atlantis to escape. The resources are of course on Atlantis and the island sinks. I think the library cards are new and the helpers and additional workers. The worker spots on some of the modules are a nice touch as are the different methods of configuring difficulty… The materials are as beautiful as everyone said they are and for now this seems like a good—in the basic version— not too difficult coop. With the variable player count (1-7) makes for a game that is likely staying a while.
