I got this expansion a few years ago and when I added it to my base game everything seemed quite daunting and I put it at the back of the shelf. Recently, I got it out and played 4 games with the expansion. Since this adds a 3rd player if you want that it is a must of course. Other than that it adds 3 cool mechanisms: * Tea that allows you to fire up your workers to do more with less * Trading with ships that lets you convert some resources other than just flipping over a tile * Building ditches to get more dry land for improved sheep farming * A few additional buildings I will now always play with the expansion.
