At first this may seem like a casual game of moving clouds and then it turns into cut-throat area majority shenanigans the strategy for which I have yet to grasp. It is so different. During your turn you play cards from your hand for 1 or 2 actions. There are 4 types of actions that let you create clouds, grow or shrink clouds and move clouds. Each action also lets you vote for the weather or manipulate the harvest dice. The game lasts 4 or 6 rounds. Each round lasts until everyone has passed. At the end of a round weather happens. The weather with the most votes changes the board state some more. Then there is the possibility of a harvest. If there is enough rain on a tile the tile is harvested. Most tiles give you points through area majority… but the variants are what makes the game endlessly variable. There is of course a solo automa that is easy to run and hard to win against courtesy David Turczi. I haven’t even started getting into the 3 expansions and promo content.
