Five Tribes: The Djinns of Naqala · English third edition · (2014)
Your rating:
2-4 players. Unsurprisingly the material is very nice but it comes with a big price tag like all DoW games. Surprisingly the part I liked most about the game was the turn bidding and I usually dislike any bidding elements. The random elements in the game just provide set-up so there's very little luck involved. The rest of the game was - after 1 play at Essen - too open for me. Too many choices and the chaos of all the meeples on the board just blinded me. Could lead to lots of AP. I guess that on more plays interesting strategies would emerge but right now too many other games are vying for my attention and with 60€ it's a not-buy. But I wouldn't mind playing again.
